Bath Size What size is best for me?

The Odin Original is a one person plunge for people up to 6’2.
The Odin XL is a one person plunge for people over 6’2 or for those who want a bit of extra leg room.
The Odin Dual is our 2 person plunge that can comfortably sit 2 large adults or 3 smaller adults.

Compressor What version do I need?

There are two key differences between the Lite models and the Pro models; the compressor size and the filtration. After plunging, Pro models can return to the starting temperature quite quickly (10-15 minutes) compared to the Lite models, which take longer (45 - 60 minutes).

For commercial use and use in hot climates, it is strongly advised to opt for the Pro models, as a stronger compressor and filter is required to facilitate continuous use.
Logo What is the difference?

Band Logo is the Odin Ice Baths logo on the two metal bands going around the tub. Burnt Logo is the Odin Ice Baths logo hand burnt into the cedar wood via a flame.

What size Odin Ice Bath is best for me?

The Odin comes in three different sizes: Original, XL and Dual.The Original models are comfortable for most users measuring up to approximately 6'2" (187cm).The XL models are recommended for users over 6'2" or for those who want a bit of extra legroom.For people over 6’2” (187cm) we recommend the Odin XL or Dual sizes, as you will be unable to fully extend your legs in an Odin Original. The Odin Dual can fit 2 large adults or 3 small adults simultaneously.

What is the difference between the Lite and Pro Versions ?

The key differences between the Lite and Pro versions are the swift cooling time, pro efficiency, advanced filtration, and suitability for continuous use. In terms of swift cooling time, pro models boast a larger compressor, allowing for a quicker cooling time of 15-25 minutes, while Lite models take 45-60 minutes for the same process. The Pro version uses a Tecumseh R404a cooling compressor with a 1/2 horsepower in Pro models, whereas Lite models employ a 1/4 horsepower compressor. Additionally, the Pro models allow for advanced filtration for impeccable hygiene, especially in multi-user scenarios. For Commercial Use or hot climate settings Pro models are recommended due to their stronger compressor/chiller and superior filtration, ensuring reliability and peak performance for continuous use.

Cooling Compressor

All of our Odin baths utilise a Techumseh R404A compressor. A robust energy efficient cooling solution designed to handle Australia's extreme ambient temperatures. We recommend upgrading to the 1/2hp compressor for XL or Dual size baths to ensure optimal operation.

Electrical Requirements

All models of the Odin operate on 220-240v power and use a standard 10amp household power socket. Every model comes equipped with an RCD safety plug and is designed to be left on 24/7.Some international customers, such as those in the United States, will need to use a voltage converter, which can easily be purchased online. - Lite models (1⁄4 HP compressor) require at least a 3000w converter. - Pro models (1⁄2 HP compressor) require at least a 5000w converter.

Maintenance Requirements
GENERAL INFO
The maintenance and cleaning of the water and filter in your Odin will depend on use. If you are rinsing off between sauna sessions or work outs you will find that your Odin will stay cleaner for longer!
FOR HOME USE
We recommend cleaning/replacing the reusable filter every 3-4 weeks, and the water can be replaced every 2-3 months, depending on degree of use and your personal preferences.
FOR COMMERCIAL USE
We recommend cleaning/replacing the reusable filter every 1-2 weeks for your client peace-of-mind, and replacing the water every 1-2 months, depending on degree of use.
CEDAR STAIN MAINTENANCE
We recommend staining the cedar every 6-12 months to keep it fresh - just depending on your personal preferences.
